Recount text : Trip To Dieng Wonosobo

Hello Everybody ..

When I was on 2^nd grade in senior high school, I have such a nice and unforgettable experience. My school held a holiday, trip to Dieng Wonosobo. I’m excited to join that trip.

We went to Wonosobo at 6 AM and arrived there in the next day. We stopped on a Wonosobo alun-alun to take a rest, pray, and waited for another bus. The bus that picked we up is in a small size than the bus before. This small bus is used to carried the visitors to the Dieng’s peak. After passed the extreme track, finally we arrived on the Arjuna temple that located in dieng’s peak. From the arjuna temple we can felt the fresh air and the fresh water. Near from the arjuna temple we visited and watched  people who makes dieng traditional food or “manisan” from papaya and it called “rica-rica”.

The second place that we visited is sikidang cauldron. The cauldron located not far from the arjuna temple. On there, we smelt a kind of sulphur gas so we should wore a mask. My friends and I enjoyed the view that offered by the sikidang cauldron and took photos together.

The third place that we visited was a cinema. The cinema quite different from the the usual. The cinema played a film, the history about dieng. That was a great film. After that, finally we back to the Yogyakarta after dinner in the restaurant.

I was so tired and really wanna go home. But, Trip to Dieng Wonosobo was a great experience I ever had. Beside the the places and the beautiful view, I knew a little bit about Dieng in history. I think dieng such a amazing place.
